Florence, September 17th

AHHHHHH Firenze! The Tuscan countryside that we from Siena to Florence from the train is amazing, but it wasn't possible to take any photos during the ride because the train windows are in need of a good wash. After going from the train station to our hotel, we visited Orsanmichele. Here are some views in Orsanmichele:

We took an evening guided tour of Florence, which started at Santa Maria Novella, pictured below:

Through the tour, we saw Piazza della Signoria, Piazza Repubblico, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, and Pitti Palace.

We had the best pizza on this trip at Trattoria Borgo Antico in Santo Spirito. In Italy, usually, pizza does not come pre-cut into slices. You must ask the kitchen. I (Lori) had the quatro formaggi (four cheese) and Gary had the one with mushrooms. Truly incredible!
